Rincon 2P Tent is a lightweight, four-season backcountry shelter designed for two people with standard gear or one person using a compact wood stove. 1. Ultralight Floorless Design

A floorless shelter reduces material, packed bulk and overall weight. It also allows users to enter with muddy footwear, organize equipment directly on the ground and choose the sleeping area that best suits the campsite.

The open interior provides more usable room than many compact floored tents. Add a groundsheet, half floor or compatible insert when more separation from soil, insects or surface moisture is preferred.

2. ARC Removable Stove Jack

The ARC zippered stove-jack system lets the Rincon 2P Tent operate in two different configurations. Remove the stove jack during warmer trips to reduce weight and bulk, or install it when using a compatible tent stove in cold conditions.

The stove-jack opening measures approximately 3.25 inches in diameter and is designed to work with common stove-pipe sizes. Always confirm pipe fit, stove clearances and shelter ventilation before lighting a stove.

3. No-Sag 20D Ripstop SilPoly Fabric

The tent uses 20D Ripstop SilPoly with a sil/sil 2500 mm coating. Polyester absorbs very little water, helping the shelter maintain its pitch and usable interior space during wet weather instead of stretching and sagging significantly.

The silicone coating supports low weight, tear strength and dependable wet-weather performance. However, all seams must be properly sealed before the shelter is considered fully waterproof.

4. Simple Single-Pole Pitch

The Rincon 2P Tent is designed to pitch around one trekking pole positioned in the center. Campers who prefer to keep their trekking poles available can use a compatible adjustable carbon-fiber center pole sold separately.

The modified rectangular geometry reduces guesswork during setup. Six stakes are the stated minimum, while eight stakes are recommended for a more complete and secure pitch.

5. Adjustable Ventilation and Draft Control

Integrated line-loc adjusters make it easy to change shelter tension and ground clearance. Pitch the perimeter close to the ground to reduce drafts and improve protection, or raise it slightly to increase airflow in warmer or more humid conditions.

Ventilation remains important in every configuration, especially when using a stove. Campsite conditions, weather and occupant activity can all affect condensation inside a floorless shelter.

6. Storm-Oriented Shelter Shape

Steep wall angles help shed snow and reduce the amount of precipitation resting on the shelter. Reinforced guy-out points provide additional tensioning options when wind or changing mountain weather requires a stronger pitch.

Choose a protected campsite whenever possible and use all necessary guy-out points in exposed conditions. Clear accumulating snow and inspect the shelter regularly during severe weather.

7. Compact Packing and Night Visibility

The shelter packs to approximately 11 × 5 inches, making it easy to organize inside or outside a backpack. Reflective materials incorporated into the tent also make the shelter easier to identify with a headlamp after dark.

What Is Included?

Each package includes the Rincon 2P Tent, one ARC removable stove jack, eight Argali 7075 aluminum Piton tent stakes and one tube of Argali Seam Tough seam sealer.

A trekking pole or optional center pole is required for pitching. Inserts, floors and stove components are separate unless specifically stated in the product option or package selected.

Two-Person and Solo Hot-Tent Configurations

For two-person trips, the floorless layout is designed to accommodate two users with a normal amount of equipment. Arrange sleeping pads on opposite sides of the center pole and keep the entrance path clear.

For solo cold-weather use, one side can be used for sleeping and the other for a compatible wood stove, firewood and organized equipment.

Seam Sealing the Rincon 2P Tent

The Rincon 2P Tent must be seam sealed before it is considered fully waterproof. The supplied silicone seam sealer should be applied in a thin bead to structural seams, zipper seams and the seams surrounding the stove jack.

Pitching the tent inside out can make the seams easier to reach. Work the silicone gently into the stitching, remove excessive buildup and allow the sealer to cure completely before packing the shelter.

Care, Drying and Storage

Shake out loose dirt and debris after each trip. Allow the Rincon 2P Tent and all accessories to dry completely before storage, paying particular attention to seam lines, webbing and the stove-jack area.

Avoid leaving the shelter packed while wet for extended periods. Store it in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, sharp objects and chemicals that could damage the fabric or silicone coating.

Inspect the YKK zipper, line-loc adjusters, guy-out points, seam sealing and stove jack before every trip. Repair small punctures or loose seams early so they do not expand under wind or fabric tension.
